Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Anorah collects, how it is used, how it may be shared, and how to contact us about privacy questions.
1. Who is operating Anorah
Anorah is currently operated by its founder before formal incorporation. If a legal entity later becomes the operator of the service, this policy may be updated to reflect that change.
2. Information we collect
- Account information such as your email address and profile name.
- Profile, avatar, and account settings you create or update inside the product.
- Usage and device information needed to operate, secure, and improve the website and account features.
- Conversation-related data, including live voice or text interactions, transcripts, summaries, and memory items you choose to create or retain in the product.
- Billing-related information such as subscription status, customer IDs, and payment events processed by our payment providers.
3. Audio and transcript handling
Anorah currently retains transcripts, summaries, and memory items associated with conversations in order to provide continuity, account features, and memory functionality. Anorah does not currently retain raw voice audio after the live session ends, although voice audio may be processed in real time by our service providers to provide the live experience.
4. How we use information
- Provide and secure the Anorah service.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Support memory and continuity across sessions.
- Process subscriptions, minute purchases, and support requests.
- Analyze service health and improve the product.
5. Service providers and processors
We may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, email delivery, payments, and AI model processing. These providers may process data on our behalf to operate the service. Our current stack may include providers such as Cloudflare, Supabase, OpenAI, Paddle, Google, and Resend.
6. International processing
Because Anorah has a global user base and uses international service providers, your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account continuity, support memory features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of contract, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations depending on the specific feature and context.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your information. You can also contact us to request account or privacy assistance.
Where analytics consent is required, Anorah will ask for your choice before enabling analytics cookies or similar analytics storage. You can revisit that choice from the website and continue to use the core product without enabling analytics.
10. Children
Anorah is not intended for children under 13, and if a higher minimum age applies in your jurisdiction, you must meet that age requirement to use the service.
11. Contact
